Panaji: At the BJP state executive meeting on Wednesday, chief minister Manohar Parrikar sought to know from party office bearers and state-level leaders why they were not actively hitting back at those making false accusations against the state BJP unit. Parrikar, sources said, questioned BJP functionaries as to why they haven't, considering the BJP has ample Bahujan Samaj leaders, hit out at Congress' Girish Chodankar when he accused the BJP in Goa of only using the Bahujan Samaj leaders for its selfish needs.

At the meeting, comprising BJP MLAs and leaders of different party wings, Parrikar also pulled up the student leaders affiliated to BJP for not reacting to accusations from other parties' student wings.
